I think everyone had a "Darrin Hudson" in their lives. Darrin Hudson was in my high school, back in Marlboro, NJ. You know, that person that you had to one-up all the time. Didn't matter what it was: Gear, hair, grades, sports, whatever...it was ON. Well for Darrin and I...it was kicks. Plain and simple. Oddly enough, in a school with over 1000 kids, me and him were the only 2 really into sneakers back then. This is my blog dedicated to Darrin. This is to tell Darrin that I'm still out there, and if he wants to battle, here it is son!! Bring it!! I've since lost touch with Darrin, but thanks to him, you all get to check out the kicks I have amassed over the years. So it is here, that I will archive every pair of shoes I own. It’ll include detailed photos, a grading system, a little tidbit behind each one and every single one will be available for purchase. (Simply POST A COMMENT with your offer). Some other little goodies sprinkled throughout also. Even if I updated a different shoe every week, it would take me about 3 years to complete this project. So sit back and enjoy! The project begins January 1st, 2006...

NRF - WEEK 6

WEEK 6!
http://www.nikerecessfederation.com/

GAME 1:
#1 vs #1. And it was a battle royale. Foamposite (Uptown) vs Terminators (Downtown). Foam came out strong and aggressive while the Terms looked sleepy. FOAM went into the first half with a 13 point lead. The TERMS clawed their way back to actually take the lead but it came down to the final shot, and FOAM takes it by 1 point, 45-44.
3 teams now have a 4-1 record. Foamposite, Terminators, and Huarache. Congrats.

GAME 2:
Rematch of the NRF 2004-05 FINALS! Generation vs Dunk. Same results as Generation takes it and moves into sole possession of 3rd place with a 3-2 record. Dunk falls to 1-2-1 and sits 4th in the Downtown Conf.

GAME 3:
This was a battle from last season's powerhouse teams that are struggling a bit out of the gate this season. Delta Force wins a squeaker (reminiscent of their playoff battle last season) and looks like they are finding their rhythym. 2 wins in a row puts then in sole possession of 2nd place, a game behind 1st. Shox falls to 2-3 and 4th in the Uptown conf.

GAME 4:
AF1 just cannot catch a break losing another close one by a mere 2 points. Check out their OP/DP and you'll find they lose their games by an average of 2.6 pts. Ouch. Regardless, they are still searching for their 1st win. Huarache on the hand is the hottest team in the NRF. 4 straight wins! They are now tied for first (in record) in the Uptown Conf.

Player of the Week:
Erskin Felix (DELTA): 22 pts / 22 rebs / 1 blk / 2 stls / 2 assts
