I'm just not a big fan. I think the toe box is too sharp. To the point where it almost causes pain for my wide ass feet. And of course, as everyone knows; THEY SQUEAK! You'd think that with all the new versions of this style, they would have fixed the squeaking problem. I didn't even bother trying with the ones that just recently dropped this year. Does anyone have a field test? Do the '06 verisons squeak? But regardless, from a design stand point, these are 10.0. Visually, graphically, colors...just perfection. I don't fault the shoe because of my biological podiatric shortcomings.

i have wide feet, too... my cousin had these am95's when he was still in china. weren't these the first AM95's?
AIRMAX Series so nice, but I have never bought a pair for myself.

wide feet here too mate. 97's fit ok.. but then those bubbles tend to break more often then not. lose-lose i reckon
hey jeff, i'm from indonesia and hooked to your blog dude... i had a pair of air max 95 produced sometime in 2000 i think. it didn't squeak even until the air cushion torn apart. i bought another one about 2 months ago, and it doesn't squeak too, well at least untill now it doesn't.
and i totally agree with you, from design stand point, a perfect 10, and performance wise even better. my favourite air max up till now.

by far the best nike shoe for comfort and performance thus far, so hard to find airmax 95 in stores now, not sure why, i would not give you $1 for the shox..I hope they never stop making this design totally because all they new nike designs just simply do not measure up!!!

Original 95's are the shit. Back then, i was into the whole Rave thing. Wore the 2nd edition of 95's- got them in the beginning of 96'- had the teal, blue and white ones. They were not as fresh as the original colors- neon green, grey, and black, but they were super rare after they sold through in 95'. Those kicks lasted me two years. I think I love kicks as much as you do.
I have about 6 pairs of air max 95's and I have to say I think they are the greatest sneaker ever produced. I started out liking them when I moved to London in 96 and saw that all my cousins wearing them but I could never afford them. Now I can but my feet are too wide to have a comfortable fit no matter what sizei get, but I guess they're worth the pain.
Does anybody know where I can find the air max 95's that were all different shades of blue?

You guys should checkout the shoes that came out from Nike with Ipod applications. Nike and Apple coming together is a perfect combination and if this can motivate a healthier lifestyle than more power to them.
AIR MAX 95'S ARE BY FAR THE BEST SHOE EVER MADE. I HAVE OWNED MORE THEN 40 PAIRS IN THE LAST 10 YEARS. EVEN AT 26, I CONTINUE TO PURCHASE THESE SHOES OVER JORDANS AND FORCES AND ETC. EVEN WITH A WIDE FOOT I STILL SLIDE RIGHT INTO THEM AND LOVE EM.
DOES ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA OF A AIRMAX SITE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DESIGN OR EDIT YOUR OWN SNEAKER?
